At 55, Brett had a realisation he needed to do something for his long term health.

“I had no issues health wise, but I knew it was only going to get harder to get my weight under control as I was getting older,” says Brett. “We all know being overweight increases our risk of heart disease and stroke. Not to mention stress on joints. You never know what is in front of you health wise, but reducing risk must increase longevity and enable a more complete life. I knew I was carrying weight, I felt sluggish, and regularly tired. I could see a fair bit of “overhang” and I knew I had to react. I needed direction, so I made the commitment to lose weight and improve my health.”

Brett says LifeShape Clinic was able to provide the direction and education he needed to reach his goals.

“I now understand what my body needs, and how to manage my weight,” says Brett. “It wasn’t you must eat this or that. My Dietitian worked with me to suit my needs and goals.”

“I’m full of life!” says Brett. “I now have energy and don’t require as much sleep. I visit the gym, exercise is much easier, and my fitness levels have improved. One of the biggest differences I feel is my clothes. I now need a new wardrobe and buying medium size clothes is very satisfying.”

I know clearly now what is right and what is wrong for weight control.”

What advice does Brett have to anyone thinking of starting the program?

“The only advice I would give is don’t wait,” says Brett. “Make a commitment now to yourself and your family. It will change your life!”
