Ingredients (serves 12)

Cooking oil spray
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Sea salt, for sprinkling


  1. Preheat oven to 180C and line a 20cm x 20cm baking pan with baking paper and grease with cooking spray. In a large bowl, whisk cocoa, almond flour, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix almond butter, coconut sugar, honey, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Pour into prepared pan and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle and comes out clean. Sprinkle with sea salt then let cool slightly before serving.
