Baked Fruit Crumbles


4 apples or firm pears
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp almonds, crushed
2 tbsp hazelnuts, crushed
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp orange juice
2 tbsp honey
Zest & juice of 1/2 lemon
Low-fat yoghurt, to serve


1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the fruit in half, and put aside. Remove half the flesh. Place in a non-stick baking dish.
2. Combine oats, almonds, hazelnuts, cinnamon, orange juice, honey and lemon zest in a bowl.
3. Divide the crumble mixture between the fruit.
4. Cover with foil and cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is cooked through.
5. Serve warm, with yoghurt.
